“What a gem of a hotel beautiful grounds and wonderful interior. Our room was very clean and comfortable with all the normal amenities. Thank you to Peter who gave us the grand tour of the state rooms and was very knowledgeable of the history of the hotel. We stayed one night but will definitely come again for a longer stay. The food in the restaurant was delicious ! Compliments to the chef’s All the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make sure that we had a wonderful stay. We would highly recommend that you stay in this idyllic hotel you will not be disappointed 😊”

“The venue and gardens are stunning and although my room was a little cold it was beautiful. Unfortunately on this occasion I was extremely disappointed with how rude a large number of the staff were. Maybe they were just having a bad day/weekend, but still you shouldn’t take that out on your customers. I would be reluctant to recommend the hotel to others because of this - but maybe if some of them had some customer service training then things would definitely improve.”
