“I loved looking at the architecture in this hotel. It is an old building and each door has a key. COSTS $50 IF YOU LOSE THE KEY. They have to change the locks. The rooms were small and cozy. The beds were so comfortable. The location is really nice as it is next to Macy’s and Chriskindlmart. Although I would really like to give a perfect review, the elevators were extremely finicky and would close, just to open back up and the lights even went off one time. Only the one elevator worked and I often spent 5-10 minutes waiting for the elevator. Sometimes I took the stairs instead. Of course, you have to understand it’s an old building and they try to preserve the old architecture. Other than that, the facility and service is nice. Each night you get $10 to spend on snacks and candy or at the bar.”

“We had a great 3 night stay for a Chicago Blues weekend! Chicago Theater one block north and Buddy Guy's Legends 6 blocks south. Staypineapple is in the heart of the Loop. Right where we wanted to be. Comfortable bed and friendly service from all staff. Meals at the Atwood Restaurant/Bar were very good too!”
