Beautiful hotel and great location to the national mall. Rooms had mini fridges and coffee makers. The lounge for elites was closed but they offered a $60 breakfast credit for the onsite restaurant. Overnight parking was $63/night valet only. The staff were friendly and helpful.

My husband and I visited your hotel this weekend and our children surprised him to celebrate his retirement announcement. I had mentioned his retirement to several employees as I was soliciting their help to surprise my husband with the arrival of our children. Before we checked out of the hotel, we were gifted a bottle of chilled wine and a beautiful hand-written note congratulating him on his retirement. This was not planned nor was it expected. This was an opportunity for JW Marriott in Washington DC to share in our celebration. What a fantastic gesture from you! Thank you, and you will always be our only choice of hotel in DC.

Their customer service over the phone is garbage. I sat on the phone on hold for 30 minutes and when the lady finally answered, she wasn't responding to my questions and was totally unhelpful. Get better people.

Realmente lindo hotel. Os quartos são pequenos, mas bem decorados e limpos. Tivemos uma bela vista do nosso quarto também. Café Starbucks conveniente localizado na loja no lobby. Eu ficaria aqui novamente!

Ótima estadia! Ambiente muito relaxante e confortável com funcionários muito simpáticos. Não importava se eu estava tomando café da manhã, tomando uma bebida no bar ou saindo... Todos foram super simpáticos e prestativos. Ficaria novamente sem hesitação.Eu tive o bônus adicional de poder ver o Monumento de Washington e o Memorial de Lincoln do meu quarto. Até viu a comitiva do presidente saindo para ele se dirigir ao Senado. Impressionante!

The location of this hotel is superb- you are in the middle of everything.Marriott drives me a little nuts, though, because they frequently don't match the experience to the brand.You think staying at a JW Marriott that you'll be enjoying a higher level experience and service.I have had better experiences at regular Marriotts.This place looks nice and was spotless, but beyond that, the service doesn't match the promise.Nobody opens doors or greets you as you enter.The front desk was friendly but not overly friendly.We got up to our room and my wife opened the nightstand drawer and someone had left behind some of their (ahem) "personal items."I chatted with the front desk and they sent someone up to retrieve the items, but no apology.We asked for additional coffee packets to be brought to the room and I was told they would be brought up- by the next morning, they hadn't been brought up- I had to chase them down.These things matter in terms of overall experience.If you are looking for a higher end experience in DC, this isn't it.There is a feeling of phoning it in.On a positive note, our room included breakfast which was always fantastic and Ellena (I think that's her name) served us every morning and she was AWESOME.

The hotel is neat,clean. And the staff is friendly. The room was spacious. There is a corner bakery right outside the hotel. The location is amazing. Just 5-10 mins walk to all the attractions. We loved our stay there

Really beautiful hotel. The rooms are small but beautifully decorated and clean. We had a lovely view from our room as well. Convenient Starbucks coffee located in the shop in the lobby. I would stay here again!

Great stay! Very relaxing and comfortable environment with very friendly staff. It didn't matter if I was having breakfast, enjoying a drink at the bar, or walking out... Everybody was super friendly and helpful. Would stay again without hesitation. I had the added bonus of being able to see both the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial from my room. Even saw the President's motorcade leaving for him to address the Senate. Awesome!

Location, location, location! That is the best way to describe this hotel. We visited DC for pleasure, and we could not have asked for a better location. This hotel is minutes from all the action. We stayed in a room with a Monument View, which is well worth the upgrade for incredible views of the Washington Monument - we even got to see Marine One land at the White House from our room! The room itself is small and dated although it felt clean overall. We've not stayed in any other DC hotels though so the size/age of the rooms might be normal for the area. The bathroom was very clean, which is always a plus. The standing glass shower was also well worth the upgrade (I believe the lower tier rooms have a bath/shower combo with curtain.) You'll likely have a chance for an upgraded room here with eligible Bonvoy status as we did, which was another plus as we were moved to a higher floor. Unfortunately, the club lounge was closed due to COVID so we didn't get to experience all of the Bonvoy status amenities. The fitness center is average - it has all of the equipment needed for a hotel workout (treadmills, bikes, free weights, cable machines) but not much more. The equipment was pretty dated and bare bones. Drinks at the hotel bar are ridiculously expensive - two doubles were $70! Again, the location cannot be beat - Starbucks, restaurants, bars, museums, monuments are all around. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel that is well worth the money when staying in DC!
