Rooms have 40-inch flat-panel TVs and luxuriously soft beds with pillowtop mattresses 400-thread-count Frette linens down comforters and fluffy pillows. The granite countertops and rainfall showerheads provide more luxe touches. Wi-Fi is available for a fee. The on-site American bistro serves breakfast and lunch and there's also a martini bar. The fitness room and the business center are both open 24 hours a day. Parking is offered at an extra charge. Located at the north end of Magnificent Mile the Millennium Knickerbocker is a stone's throw from the Mile's high-end boutiques. The CTA's Chicago Red Line is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Walk four minutes south to the open-air skywalk at the John Hancock Observatory or stroll a few minutes southeast to Navy Pier. The Knickerbocker is a 27-minute drive southeast of O'Hare International Airport and 21 minutes northeast of Midway International Airport.

“Great location. Prompt, professional service at check in. Clean. Hallways dark and a bit rundown. Room smelled of smoke although a nonsmoking hotel. Comfortable bed. Good counter space in the bathroom. I signed up for your rewards to book for future dates but, unless I missed it, I still have not received.”

“I was happy with our stay at the MK. The rooms were a little dated, but the bathroom was nice, the bed was comfortable and it wasn't at all noisy. Nice location on a quiet (for Chicago) street. Just a block from the Hancock Building and Michigan Avenue, and to a tunnel to the lake. Not sure why they charge a $15/night resort fee. Must be taking cues from Vegas, or Ticket Master on how to take more money from guests.”
