“I recently spent three nights here and was thoroughly impressed with the service. Everyone that I encountered from the front porch to first entering my room was polite and helpful. My room was in a corner, with a view toward Washington. It contained the appropriate amount of space, with ample closet room and a well laid out bathroom. Every morning, there was a selection of breakfast treats, juice, and of course coffee and tea. Venturing out the first afternoon (with little knowledge of Alexandria), we were pleasantly surprised to learn that we were in the middle of the old area of town with various activities and a broad selection of restaurants available to us. Walking around near the Morrison was a pleasant experience. We enjoyed our stay here. As bad luck would have it, I discovered when I arrived home that I had forgotten a package and left it at the hotel. It had no current contact information attached, so I was worried about what would happen to the item. As soon as I called the contact number, I learned that the package had been discovered, and stored in a secure area. Within a day, it was on its way to my home, and it arrived safe and sound the following day. I was impressed at how helpful the staff was each time I called for a progress report. For my next trip to Alexandria, I will stay here again, and I highly recommend the Morrison for others.”
