“Great vantage point on the Magnificent Mile.Short stroll over to the Hancock Tower, and even shorter to next door Pizano's restaurant for the best deep dish pizza.There was a hiccup in the hotel's computer system when we checked in for our 3 day Christmas stay, so our bill was not surprisingly conflicted later.Although the hotel again needed repayment on our credit card (though we used a chip reader with approval message), our bank meanwhile assured me it was already authorized for payment and that if I paid twice, I would need to file a dispute to drop one of the two payments.But the manager at the hotel was very devoted to getting this right and ensured we would not be victims of their computer crash days earlier (and provided us documentation to ensure our comfort).And he was right, everything worked out smoothly.So, this is not a complaint.You only know how good a business is when something goes wrong and you see how they handle it.Sofitel Hotel was a terrific stay and we will be happy to return.”
