We stayed the night here in December. The front desk was warm and professional. The room was clean. However, I must agree with the other reviews the beds were hard as a rock. Additionally, I believe there should be a back up driver for the airport shuttle especially for those guest who might need it for transportation. A slight inconvenience occurred and had to pay for a taxi after a long flight. My husband and I used the fitness center and that was clean and had all the equipment we needed to complete our workouts. Overall, this hotel served its purpose of providing food and shelter for the nice as we continue our journey.

In the heart of downtown San Diego, within walking distance to basically everywhere. Stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved it. No complaints! Great service, great amenities and great bed. Amazing views from our room, too! Very easy location for Lyft drivers to pick up and drop off, as well. We walked so many places and right down the street is an amazing food market! We would definitely stay again!

This hotel was amazing! First, the rooms are very clean and the beds are comfy. Also bathrooms are wide and the shower has good pressure. The rooms and lobby look very modern and vintage at the same time. I really loved the European theme throughout the hotel. Location is very good, near everything. The only thing is that i wish they had wider dinning options and something available to eat in the day! Also the hallways are hot and windows are always open! Besides that even the service was super amazing!

We had a great stay here from July 5 - July 10. The hotel itself was great. Our room was large and everything was clean when we arrived. My only complaint was the bed - the mattress really did a number on our backs. We added extra stretching to our routine to compensate. Service was great until the last day (more on that later). You have to request having your room made up due to covid which is somewhat understandable. We were able to approach the staff when they were servicing other rooms in our hallway to ask for some coffee pods for the machine in the room. The only issue we had was on the day of check out - we booked a courtesy shuttle to the airport. When we got to the lobby, we were told it was not available. The manager ordered us a taxi instead, which was appreciated. The location is great for access to airport, downtown, zoo, etc. And there was lots to do in Little Italy which was easy to walk to. There are signs of people experiencing homelessness, but I feel that's common in most downtown locations. The folks we encountered were nice and weren't even panhandling. Thanks for a great stay. We would likely stay again, especially if the mattresses are updated.

I had to change my review score because I left a jacket behind and called the next day but they refused to look for it because it was after 5pm. I called again the next day and they said they would call back but didn't. Then 4 days later I called again and they did call me back but then said "we couldn't find a sweater matching what you described" when I clearly said Jacket every time. I also failed to mention that we were in two different rooms, in both rooms the shower draining was so slow that you would be standing in a large puddle of water by the time you finished. Additionally, the hot water didn't work in the sink of the second room and the shower constantly had air (I'm guessing) in the pipes that would rattle whenever you used it. Plus the room had a layer of dust on any surface above eye level and the sink had black grime in it. Everyone was friendly and room service was prompt. The location was too far from the pier for my needs, didn't go to the zoo, too far from laundry services. I'm a long term stay because of my work so this hotel isn't great for that but it's also not the worst. The bar tenders are good people and the restaurant staff is also pretty great, the food is hit or miss, but only the salad has parts I didn't want to eat. The balcony is wonderful, but be careful to not fall off, not great for little kids, there are rooms without balconies. The hot tub was in use almost the entire time I was there so I'm assuming it's pretty nice, it's outside so that's pretty cool. I wouldn't stay here for work again, the two rooms I stayed in both had problems with the shower draining. But it would be fine for a few days of vacation and the most affordable place I came across with a balcony. It was nice they provided water, But awful that it's all in plastic bottles, feels very anti-environment.

Great location, however many services lacking in this facility. Front desk staff lacking courtesy training, no internet at all, power outage for more than 8 hours during our stay. No compensation...

You can walk everywhere from this location. Little Italy is as close as it can be and you find many good restaurants and espresso cafes. Also walking distance to the water front and the downtown...
