Good location! Nice hotel! Alexis at the front desk in the evenings was extremely accommodating, and did everything to assist us. Had some minor issues with our HVAC system in our room, but Danielle did the right thing for us. Overall, a great visit! We will be back!

Loved this Hilton Garden Inn, which is located in the heart of downtown Buffalo, in Lafayette Square, right across the street from the Metro Rail station. Easy access to everything - we stayed here to see a Buffalo Sabres game on a cold November night, after coming across the Peace Bridge from the Ontario side. Friendly and helpful staff - even recommended us to a restaurant for good chicken wings! The hotel is an older property, but the interior of the building has been redone and it looks great. We were lucky to get a room with a great row of windows that overlooked Lafayette Square and Buffalo's downtown. Parking your vehicle will be at an uncovered, off-site lot about one block away. The restaurant in the hotel is a nice place for a breakfast or a lunch (we didn't use it for dinner). Overall, a very good location, good Hilton property, and convenient location.

As I am sure everyone is aware, Buffalo experienced the full wrath of the storm that hit much of the north east and mid west during t.he holidays 2022 Here is a copy of the letter I sent to Hilton which was ignored. I live nearby on the waterfront and sought to book a room for a night or two with your business, as I had been without heating and power for two days with no confirmation of when the power would be back. As temperatures were nearly 34 degrees indoors, when the worst of the storm had passed, I felt it necessary to book into a hotel, to be safe, warm up and recharge. Having called the Hilton Garden View location, I was spoken to in an extremely rude manner and told to walk to the hotel, as they would see if there was any availability on arrival. Firstly, I take issue with the way I was spoken to with no respect or compassion. Secondly, and most importantly, I take issue with the fact that I couldn’t be given an answer as to whether there was availability for me, as surely there is a room or there is not. I was asked to go out in wretched conditions when the answer may have been ‘no’. I have no issue with a room being unavailable and appreciate that this can be the case. I do however, have an issue with how I was spoken to and being provided with no assurance, whilst be asked to venture out on an hour and half walk to see if I would be ‘let in’. I would like to know why I was treated in this way please? Regards, Amanda Robinson Just unreal.

The stay was excellent. They were great in the time of hardship and stress. They were very helpful in the time of storm. I would never trade this hotel for any other in the buffalo region. Even if there is a cheaper hotel I'll come to the Hilton Garden Inn downtown Buffalo before any other. They are truly a great member of staff. Thank you all so much for what you have done for the community during the blizzard from Dec 23 to Dec 28. You all did a remarkable job on all shifts. Keep up the good work. See you all in July for July 4th and maybe before hand

Got stranded at Christmas 2022. This hotel staff is absolutely amazing!! Very accommodating, super helpful. Other hotels are running out of food and these guys are making breakfast and a dinner for everyone. It’s truly an amazing crew. They are stranded with us and dealing with all the stress yet have a smile on their face!! A can not recommend this place enough, just because of the staff. Merry Christmas and thank you so very very much!!!
